Hey! I'm Taryn. Welcome to our blog. I cant wait to help you sprinkle a little fun into your kitchen.
Welcome!
A little morning outing on Earth Day to a local trail/park in Orlando. I’ve been trying to do something special for every holiday and special event, so we decided to go straight to nature for Earth Day. This park is about 20 minutes from my house, and we got there around 8:30 am.
This Songbirds sign was sooo fitting because the birds were most definitely out chirping this morning.
We were there to hike the trail but also saw a ton of campsites and campers riding bikes. We put it on our bucket list because it just looked so peaceful. For today, we kept to the trail and playground.
The sun was out and it got hot FAST. (We hit McDonalds for drinks right after this, lol)
The trail wasn’t long and it was on a really clear straight path which was nice. We walked down and back which was about a mile and a half.
Walked out to the dock. Saw a sign that said beware of alligators and snakes. About a minute later we watched a snake swim through the water…I had actually never seen that before!
Stopped off at the playground on the way out. Super cute and empty so it was really nice. Perfect start to Earth Day!
