I am never going to stop making this cookie skillet 😂 It’s cute and easy to theme for the seasons PLUS it is one of my favorite desserts to eat. Feel free to get creative and mix and match toppings and ice cream flavors. You really and truly cannot go wrong.
THE STORY: I first made this double cookie skillet for Halloween and it was an instant hit. To be honest, I had no idea they made these heart cookies, but they are CUTE. The M&Ms are actually from Christmas, I just took out the green lol. They’ll be used for St. Patrick’s day 😉
TIPS: You want the cookie to be cooked but still gooey. So check it at 25 minutes and you can even take a spoon and scoop out part of the side to see if it’s the consistency that you like. This skillet is BIG, so if you’re not going to eat it all at once, I suggest scooping the cookie into serving bowls and then adding the ice cream.
SPRINKLE OF CREATIVITY: I used strawberry ice cream, and it would have been amazing with a few scoops of chocolate and a Nutella drizzle too. If you don’t love strawberry, a Unicorn ice cream or even plain vanilla with Valentine’s Day candy would be a huge hit.
