Marshmallow Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon roll hack using the Rice Krispies Treats creamer! These are going down as my favorite cinnamon rolls of all time. I think there are going to be more flavors in my future, but for now, these are store-bought cinnamon rolls made with marshmallow treats creamer and topped with marshmallow icing!

Ingredients

Scale 1x2x3x

• ¼ c Rice Krispies Treats Creamer + 2 tbsp for icing
• 1 pkg cinnamon rolls- either 8 count or 5 count
• 1 c powdered sugar
• 1 tbsp butter, melted
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tbsp marshmallow fluff

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray an 8” pan with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Place the cinnamon rolls in the dish. Pour the RKT creamer over the rolls. 
3. Bake them for approximately 15-18 minutes. The 5 count larger rolls will take longer than the 8 count. 
4. Meanwhile, in another small bowl, combine the powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and 2 tbsp of creamer. Mix until smooth. Stir in the fluff and mix with a spoon until completely smooth. Since it has the fluff in it, it’ll be thicker but it melts nicely onto the rolls. If you’d like it thinner, add 1 tbsp of additional heavy cream at a time.
5. Remove the rolls from the oven. Let them cool a minute or two and then top with the icing. Let them cool for a bit in the pan then enjoy!
6. Alternatively, if you’d really like the flavors to come together, let them cool completely then just heat them up before eating. Or serve room temp 🙂

What originally started a viral hack that called for heavy whipping cream, I switched it up for fun by using Rice Krispies Treats Creamer instead. Ummmmm, YUM! The marshmallow topping is one that you can either find pre-made in the grocery store or make it yourself. The icing reminds me of fluffy clouds. AND after all, clouds can’t be clouds without the fluff!  Do yourself a favor and stop at the store Friday night on your way home from a long work week and enjoy this ever-lovin’ weekend treat.
