Mini brownie cups topped with pink frosting, pastel sprinkles, and molded chocolate chicks for the cutest Easter treat!
Easter Chick Brownie Bites are the most fun part of a spring dessert table. Rich mini brownies are topped with soft pink frosting, pastel nonpareils, and a molded chocolate chick that makes each one feel completely Easter-ready. They’re colorful, festive, and perfectly semi-homemade. The kind of treat that disappears quickly once the baskets are filled and everyone gathers around the table.
Flavor Profile
The brownie base is rich and fudgy with deep chocolate flavor. The pink vanilla frosting adds a creamy sweetness that softens the edges. The pastel nonpareils bring a tiny crunch. And the chocolate chick on top ties everything together with another layer of smooth chocolate. Every bite is soft, sweet, and perfectly Easter-ready.

- Easter mold
Ingredients
- 1 Easter chick mold (bunnies work too)
- Yellow candy melts or white Ghirardelli melts + yellow oil-based food coloring
- 1 box brownie mix + ingredients listed on the box

- Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions. Line a mini muffin pan with liners and fill each about 2/3 full.
- Bake at 350°F for 12–15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the edge comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely.
- Pipe or swirl pink frosting on each brownie bite. Sprinkle with pastel nonpareils while the frosting is still soft. Top each with a chocolate chick and serve.
FAQ
Can I make these ahead of time?
Yes. Bake the brownie bites one day ahead and store covered. Frost and top with the chocolate chicks the day you’re serving for the freshest look.
Can I use bunny molds instead of chicks?
Absolutely. Any Easter shape works. Bunnies, eggs, even little carrots.
Do I have to tint the frosting pink?
No, but the pink gives that soft spring contrast against the dark brownie and yellow chick. It makes everything pop visually.
How do I remove the chocolate from the mold cleanly?
Make sure the chocolate is fully set and gently flex the silicone mold. If it sticks, pop it back in the fridge for a few more minutes.
Can I use homemade brownies instead of a box mix?
Of course. Just use a thicker batter so they hold their mini shape well.
Sprinkle of Fun
Bake these while you’re building Easter baskets and let them sit front and center on the counter. They match the soft colors and candy-filled magic perfectly.
