Hey! I'm Taryn. Welcome to our blog. I cant wait to help you sprinkle a little fun into your kitchen.
Welcome!
I got a bunch of cookie kits in from Corso’s Cookies, and my daughter and I put a few surprise party boxes together. One of the girls was having a birthday later in the week, so we made party boxes for everyone! We wanted the cookies to be the main focus and activity. Corso’s Cookies come in assorted themed designs, all individually wrapped, and include markers with edible color. Best part, is that they taste AMAZING. If I had to compare them to anything, they taste like the old-school McDonaldland Cookies (tiny hint of lemon.) Everyone loved them, the kids just couldn’t get enough.
We started by getting a load of goodies at the dollar store- birthday containers, gummy candy, notebooks, clay, and lollipops. Each container was filled with a little bit of everything and then we added one cookie and two markers. Everyone wound up sharing the markers, but it was nice for them to begin with a couple of colors.
After everyone took their seat, they opened their cookies and started to color. They spent so much time on them, it was super cute. Of course, they asked if they could eat them immediately and each guest raved over them. I was happy that they actually loved the taste of their “craft.”
The next day, we had a few cookies left over so my daughter and I each colored one and we filmed it in the video below. They were delicious and the fondant taste was fantastic. It tasted like a nice thin icing on the cookie- it wasn’t gummy or too thick. I would 100% get these for any party, they were such a hit!
