Birthday Cake Oreo Brownies…does it get any better? I don’t think so! These brownies are semi-homemade and packed with all the best flavors. All you need is a boxed brownie mix, Birthday Cake Oreos, vanilla frosting, and rainbow sprinkles. Honestly, I would add rainbow sprinkles to any dessert if I could, so I am ALL IN for these.

I’ve made Oreo brownies countless times, but the Birthday Cake Oreos take them to a whole new level. They add a delicious extra layer of sweetness pairs perfectly with the fudgy brownies. I went with vanilla frosting, but chocolate would be amazing too. If you’re short on time, store-bought frosting works just fine, but trust me, homemade vanilla buttercream is next-level. The combo of chocolate brownies, vanilla buttercream, and sprinkles is simply irresistible.
One thing I’ve learned from making desserts is that not everyone loves traditional birthday cake. Some people want more frosting, some less, and some just prefer another dessert all together! These brownies are a perfect solution imo. You can skip the frosting or serve it on the side for everyone to choose from. It’d be fun to offer both chocolate and vanilla frosting options and let everyone go wild with sprinkles.
Confession…I have no idea what I preferred growing up. I can’t remember even one birthday cake that I had. If I had to choose now that I am in my 40’s, I would go back in time and have a whole dessert table. Brownies, cake, cookies, let’s do it all.
I’ll share another variation soon, but here’s a hot tip: you can customize these for any time of the year. Try classic Oreos with cookies and cream frosting, peppermint Oreos with chocolate candy cane frosting, or Golden Oreos with cookie butter frosting. Each one is a total game-changer!
