Monthly Theme: Books & Bows

This month’s mood board is our little twist on back-to-school season! We went with a “Books & Bows” theme, featuring a fun mix of finds that work for this time of year but can still be used all year long. Mini Bow Silicone/Fondant Molds– If you’re looking to add a cute little garnish to cake pops or chocolate-covered Oreos, this bow mold is perfect. It’s easy to use, and the bows come out with such pretty detail.

Pink Bow Cake Toppers – I’ve seen these fancy cakes all over the internet with pretty pink bows, and I love the look. If you’re a cake decorator, this is such a fun style to try.

Edible Bow Sprinkles– These bow sprinkles are adorable and small enough to add to tiny treats. They’re such an easy way to give desserts a little extra fun.

Pink Shimmer Bow Icing Decorations– I’ve used these a few times, and they’re such a favorite. They’re pretty pink bow edible icing decorations, and all you have to do is attach them to your treat with a little melted white chocolate.

Pink Bow Car Air Vent Clips– Why not get fancy and decorate your car too? These pink bow air vent clips are such a cute little touch for your interior. They’re easy to add, instantly make the space feel more fun, and are perfect if you love a girly bow detail.

Bow Crewneck Sweatshirt– As it gets cooler, this sweatshirt will be perfect. It has a cute embroidered bow design and a soft fleece lining that makes it warm and comfortable. It’s such an easy piece to throw on with jeans or leggings throughout fall and winter.

Pink Bow Apple Watch Band– I’m a huge fan of changing my watch band for different seasons and themes, so this bow design was such a fun find. It has a pretty two-tone engraved look with little ribbon bows, which makes it feel a little more fun than a basic band while still being easy to wear every day.

Alleyoop 4-in-1 Makeup Pen– The Alleyoop 4-in-1 Makeup Pen was such a fun find because it looks just like one of those multicolor click pens from the ’90s. Instead of ink, though, it packs four makeup essentials into one: eyeliner, lip liner, brow pencil, and highlighter. There’s no sharpener needed either — just click, twist, and apply. It’s easy to see why this one went viral and has been featured by TODAY and InStyle.

Satin Hair Bows – My daughter has totally jumped on the bow craze, and I have to admit, it’s such a cute and simple way to dress up a hairstyle. This set comes with two oversized satin bows in pink and beige, so they’re easy to mix and match with different outfits. The silky fabric gives them a polished look, but they’re still simple enough for everyday wear throughout the year.

Blue Bow Tshirt– I’ve worn this T-shirt so many times this month, and I get compliments on it every time. The blue color is so pretty, and the bow design is right on theme with everything I’ve been loving lately. It has a vintage camo bow graphic that mixes a slightly rugged look with the softer coquette style, plus a classic crewneck and easy short sleeves.

Paper Bow Decorations– These would be such a fun classroom decoration to use all year long. They were really simple to put together, and the finished bows are so cute. The set includes 60 cardstock bows in 10 different designs, with patterns like leopard print, checkerboard, pencils, polka dots, and notebook paper. They’d be perfect for bulletin boards, classroom doors, or adding a little extra color around the room.

Green Bow Shirt– This is easily one of my favorite shirts right now. The green color really pops, but the bows down the back are what make it so cute and different. It has a V-neck, cap sleeves, and an open-back design finished with oversized bows. It’s also really lightweight and comfortable, so it’s an easy top to dress up or wear more casually.

Pink Bow Fanny Pack– We take a lot of trips to Disney and spend plenty of time on walking trails, so this little pink bow fanny pack has definitely come in handy. It’s lightweight, has three zippered compartments, and gives you an easy place to keep things like snacks, your phone, keys, and other small essentials. The adjustable strap lets you wear it around your waist or as a crossbody, and the corduroy fabric and bow detail make it extra cute.

Purple Reading Shirt– I’m a huge reader, so this shirt was an easy yes for me. I love the purple color, and the floral book design is such a cute way to show off a love of reading. It’s simple, comfortable, and perfect for pairing with jeans or leggings.

Lucky Step Printed Sneakers– I got these sneakers for my daughter and was totally jealous because they are incredibly cute. They have a durable non-slip sole and come with two pairs of shoelaces, so you can switch up the look depending on what you’re wearing.

Disney Princess Books Loungefly Mini Backpack– I absolutely love this Loungefly. It combines Disney princesses with a book theme, which is basically everything I love in one bag. It’s an officially licensed Disney backpack, which makes it an especially cute pick for Disney fans who love to read. Check out all of the coordinating items below! 

If It Makes You Happy Book– I’m currently reading this book, and it’s fabulous. It takes place in the ’90s with a fall theme, which I absolutely love. I truly can’t put it down.

Better Than the Movies book– My daughter just finished this book, and she 100% recommends it! She’s 12, and it was a great fit for her age. She really enjoyed it from start to finish.

Bloom Daily Planners- Bloom Daily Planners is such a fun brand for anyone who loves staying organized but still wants everything to feel cute and colorful. The female-led company creates planners, calendars, stickers, notebooks, and other organizational finds designed to make everyday planning feel a little more fun.
