Hey! I'm Taryn. Welcome to our blog. I cant wait to help you sprinkle a little fun into your kitchen.
Welcome!
Last Friday, my daughter and I kicked off our “Fun Fridays” with a spontaneous trip to Animal Kingdom after school. The weather was pretty hot, but hey that’s to be expected here in Orlando! We decided to start with the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail, which was super fun because the gorillas were extra expressive and playful. Afterward, we hopped on the Kilimanjaro Safari, and I was amazed at how many animals we saw this time—it was like they all decided to put on a show just for us!
Of course, no trip to Animal Kingdom is complete without checking out some merch, and we stumbled upon the most adorable new Winnie the Pooh items. We also noticed all the Lion King anniversary treats being featured throughout the park. We were tempted to try the cookie, but we were on a mission to find this special sundae. For dinner, we stuck to our usual go-to of chicken fingers. Afterward, WE FOUND IT!
The Rafiki Sundae was a passholder exclusive dessert, made to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Lion King. It had soft-serve ice cream with sweet wildberry syrup and Fanta Orange soda, so basically a soda float. It had a citrus-y sweet flavor combination. Topped with a chocolate Rafiki medallion, it was a fun treat…my daughter played Rafiki in her school’s Lion King Kids play so this truly made our Fun Friday 🙂
