My weekly favorites 😃 I share a lot of this in Instagram stories, but I thought it might be a good idea to have it all in one place!
I’m going to start it off with my all-time favorite pizza maker. I get fresh dough from the store and use this amazing piece of equipment to make the perfect pizza. Half is made with classic pepperoni and then my daughter loves a mix of ham and sausage.
Now these may not look like much, but they are croissant buns. YES, croissant…and they’re better than you’d imagine. I used them to make bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches. They’re at Fresh Market by the bread and bakery. I highly recommend them, mind-blowing.
I did a lot of shopping during the week, and I am already excited for summer. I’ve really been loving the nautical decorations (below from Cracker Barrel). I also found this Sunday Brunch candle which smelled amazing. I put in a suggestion for a sprinkle mix with the same theme, and I think it’s in the works.
More than anything, I can’t tell you how much I love my new treadmill desk. Love is an understatement. My productivity level is at like 170% and I think I am walking ten miles a day lol. It doesn’t even feel like exercise, and I’ve never been so organized. This is the one that I got. I also found this pink laptop stand and it’s perfection.
Had a little visitor mid-week. Hi Rose!
I got more books at the mall this week, and the one below is next on my list- Before the Coffee Gets Cold. I also started a Facebook Book Club here. If you’re interested, it’ll be a small little group just for fun.
Snacks of the Week: Popcorners, every flavor. The kettle corn and sea salt are my favorite, but I also tried sour cream and spicy queso this week. Then…let me tell you about these cookies. They’re not pretzels, just pretzel shaped. Shortbread cookies dipped in white chocolate and loaded with sprinkles- these are my dream. They’re Spring themed, so I made sure I wouldn’t run out and got 14 boxes. No big deal.
Made a fun Spring Workout guide, found here.
Updated my Disney section with our trip to Pop Century here and took a little drive out to a trail for Earth Day here.
Had fun with some new cookie color kits here.
One thing I’ve done each month since my daughter was super little, is have a themed month. They used to be Disney movies or characters, but this year we did locations around the world. This month is Thailand, so of course we had to get Thai food! She’s never had it before, so we started off with classic spring rolls and dumplings. I got a salad and she got pad thai (not pictured b/c we were starving) and we ended with banana a la mode.
Last but not least, I ended the week by making one of my favorite cakes that I’ve created in a while. It has a marbled pink vanilla and chocolate base, Dark Oreo fudge frosting, peanut butter mousse filling, and chopped Reeses on top. Here’s a little preview!
Hope everyone has a great week!
