I always read a mix of virtual/ebooks, hard copy books, and audiobooks. This past week, I just finished my ebook “The Mister” by E.L. James. I hate to say it, but I thought this was one of the dumbest books I’ve ever read 😂 The entire situation was silly, the main character Maxim was so unrealistic, and the girl he was interested in Alessia was very annoying. It took me SO LONG to get through. I was hoping the ending made the book mildly worth it, but it did not. And I couldn’t believe there is a second one out. Perhaps if I am feeling really curious, I’ll give it a try.
I am currently listening to the Comfort Crisis…I don’t hate it, but I am not quite sure of the point yet. TBD.
I did finish “The Mountain is You.” I try to listen to the motivational books when I work out because I don’t have to follow a story line per se. This one was ten thousand times better than the other two. It deals with self sabotage and I really liked her straightforward delivery. It wasn’t flowery, but gave very clear suggestions and ideas to apply in real life. Highly recommend this one.
