S’moreo Brownies

S’mores brownies are a decadent mix of the classic campfire treat and rich, fudgy brownies. They’re made with S’moreos, boxed mix brownies, and topped with mini marshmallows for the perfect blend of crunchy, chewy, and chocolatey.

Going camping this season? I’m not much of a camper (unless it’s in a cabin), but I am all for the themed treats. These S’moreo Brownies just so happen to be the quintessential treat for campers with a sweet tooth. The delicious blend of crunchy graham cracker-flavored S’moreos, gooey marshmallows, and rich brownie delivers a taste of nostalgia, capturing the essence of campfire memories. They’re less messy than tradition s’mores, but I say- why not have both?! Pre-made and packed makes them a perfect, easy treat to enjoy under the starry skies. Ingredients

Scale 1x2x3x

• 1 box of brownie mix + the ingredients listed on the box. I used Duncan Hines Fudge Brownie Mix
• 16 S’moreos
• 1 c milk chocolate melts- I used Ghirardelli
• 1 c mini marshmallows (feel free to use more)
• Extra S’moreos, broken into small pieces

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9″ square pan with parchment and spray with baking spray.
2. Make the brownies according to the package directions, and place the batter into the pan, spreading it smooth with a spatula.
3. Top it with an even layer of S’moreos, pressing into the batter.
4. Bake it for 30-35 minutes. If the brownies are not fully baked, be sure to leave it a bit longer.
5. Let them cool for approximately 30 minutes.
6. Melt the chocolate and pour it on top of the brownies, spreading it into an even layer. Top with crushed cookies and mini marshmallows.
7. Let the brownies sit on a wire rack until completely set. To speed up the process and for a chewier brownie, refrigerate them for about an hour. Serve at room temp so that the chocolate is easy to bite through.
