I love Sugar Bowl Bakery because they have the most delicious pre-packaged treats. They’re always an easy solution for classroom desserts. I used their mini brownies to create these Donkey Kong-inspired Fudge Frosted brownies. The buttercream is so rich and decadent, they make the perfect single bite sweet.

Ingredients

Scale 1x2x3x

• Brownie Bites- I used Sugar Bowl Bakery
• 2 sticks of butter- one salted, one unsalted
• 4 cups powdered sugar
• 1/4 c Nutella
• 1/4 c dark cocoa powder
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 3–4 tbsp heavy cream
• Banana Country sprinkles here
• If you’d like a touch of banana flavor, add in 1/2 tsp banana extract

Instructions

1. Unwrap the brownie bites and place them on a flat surface.
2. In a bowl, beat the butter until smooth. Add in half of the powdered sugar and mix. Add in the rest of the powdered sugar, Nutella, cocoa powder, vanilla and cream and beat until smooth.
3. Place the frosting in a piping bag. I used these bags and this tip.
4. Pipe a swirl of frosting on each brownie and then top with sprinkles.
