3 Sweet Things: A New Weekly Series!

Welcome to my newest blog series: 3 Sweet Things! Every week, I’ll be sharing three of my current favorite things. They won’t all be dessert-related or even food-related. It’s just a little sprinkle of the stuff I’m loving lately. Let’s dive into this week’s sweet picks!

1. Cozy Coloring Books

I’ve been absolutely obsessed with cute, seasonal coloring books lately. There’s something so relaxing about curling up with a book full of adorable little scenes to color. Makes me feel like a kid again. For those of you from the 80’s, I used to play with these Maple Town toys, and the book illustrations remind me of those! Some of the coloring books simple and sweet, while others are more detailed and themed, like this gem: Cuddly Winter: A Cozy Coloring Book for Adults.

I’ve also treated myself to a fancy set of colored pencils, and every night, I color while watching my favorite Hallmark movies. It’s my little slice of heaven!

2. Newest Audiobook

I’ve discovered the perfect companion for baking and cleaning: audiobooks! Seriously, organizing my closet was a breeze this week because I had something more fun to focus on lol. Next week, I’m starting a Valentine’s-themed audiobook called Love and Lattes by the same author who wrote The Kissing Booth. I really really liked the Netflix movie, so I’m pretty excited to start this one. I’ve been recipe testing like crazy, and it’s helping me stay focused during that too. I have a tendency to go off on tangents.

3. Valentine’s-Themed Stanley Cup

Last but definitely not least, I managed to snag the new Valentine’s-themed Stanley Cup from Target! I’m not one to get the newest Stanleys, but this one was just too cute to pass up.

I’ve been using it every morning while tackling my latest fitness goal: conquering the stair climber I got for Christmas. The stair climber hates me…or I hate it. Not sure, but my legs burn after 10 seconds. I’ve made my way up to 10 minutes. Progress. I fill this Stanley with ice cold water which definitely helps while I work on building endurance. Cute and practical, check and check.
