TWIX is bringing Halloween and Christmas together again, and Zombie Claus is officially back.
Hallowmas is returning for its second year, combining Halloween scares with Christmas cheer around TWIX’s longtime “Two Is More Than One” theme. The idea is perfect for Twix: it brings cookie and candy together, while Hallowmas combines two major holidays into one very fun seasonal celebration.
This year, the campaign is getting bigger with new TWIX Skulls, a $20,000 fan contest, surprise Zombie Claus appearances, and a Halloween event in New York City.
The story behind Hallowmas is quite a tale. Santa was bitten by a zombie, became Zombie Claus, and now serves as the face of TWIX’s Halloween-Christmas mashup. Throughout October, Zombie Claus will appear across TWIX social channels and pop up in unexpected places as the brand encourages fans to create their own version of Hallowmas.

Beginning October 5, fans can submit photos and videos celebrating Hallowmas for a chance to win cash and TWIX. The “Most Hallowmas Spirit” winner will receive $5,000, while the “Best Zombie Claus Look-Alike” will also receive $5,000. One grand prize winner will take home $10,000.
The contest runs through November 8, 2026, for eligible U.S. residents ages 18 and older.
Zombie Claus will also make an in-person appearance in Williamsburg on Halloween. Instead of traditional trick-or-treating, TWIX says Zombie Claus will hit the streets handing out candy himself. More details are expected through the brand’s social channels before October 31.

There is also a new candy joining Hallowmas this year. TWIX Skulls are making their debut alongside returning seasonal options TWIX Ghoulish Green and TWIX Fun Size. I’ve tried the green TWIX, and they have the classic taste with a little spooky color.
Between an undead Santa, new Halloween candy, and $20,000 in prizes, Hallowmas is in full swing.
Chocolate sprinkle cookies are the base for mini ice cream sundaes with all the fun toppings.
