Ingredient Notes

• Flour tortillas – Soft taco-size tortillas work best for folding and crisping in the skillet. If you use larger burrito-size tortillas, you may want to increase the filling slightly.
• Ground turkey – Season simply with salt and pepper, or add a little garlic powder and onion powder for extra flavor. Lean ground turkey keeps things lighter but still juicy.
• American cheese – The classic melty cheese for that “burger” vibe. You could swap in cheddar or pepper jack if you prefer.
• Ketchup & mayo – A quick shortcut to burger-style sauce. Stir them together for a creamy “special sauce” effect.
• Crunchy cheese puffs or mini tortilla chips – The fun twist that gives these crunch wraps their name. Either works for a cheesy, salty crunch.
• Shredded lettuce – Adds a fresh, cool contrast to the warm turkey and melted cheese. Chop it finely so it folds easily into the wrap.

Before You Make

Do I need to cook the ground turkey first?
Yes, the ground turkey should be fully cooked and seasoned before adding it to the tortillas. This ensures the wrap heats evenly and the filling is flavorful.

How do I fold the tortillas so they don’t fall apart?
Place the filling in the center, then fold in the edges one at a time to create a snug wrap. Toasting the wrap in the skillet helps seal it and keep everything inside.

Can I prep these ahead of time?
Yes—assemble the wraps up to a few hours in advance and refrigerate. Toast them right before serving for the best crunch.

FAQ

Can I make Turkey Burger Crunch Wraps in the air fryer?
Yes! Cook at 375°F for about 5–6 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

What’s the best cheese to use?
American cheese melts beautifully, but cheddar, Colby Jack, or pepper jack are tasty swaps if you want more flavor.

Can I add extra toppings?
Absolutely—try diced pickles, onions, or even a little mustard for a true burger flavor.

Do Turkey Burger Crunch Wraps reheat well?
They’re best fresh, but you can reheat them in a skillet or air fryer to bring back the crispness. Avoid microwaving, as it makes the tortillas soggy.

Are Turkey Burger Crunch Wraps freezer-friendly?
Yes, assemble and freeze them un-toasted. When ready to eat, thaw slightly and crisp them up in the skillet or air fryer.
