Hey! I'm Taryn. Welcome to our blog. I cant wait to sprinkle a little fun into your kitchen with you!
You’ll absolutely love this recipe because it’s so easy to make and so perfect for summer dessert on the porch. My favorite way to serve it is warm with scoops of vanilla ice cream. The fresh strawberries give it an extra boost of fresh flavor.

2- 16 oz packages of Pound Cake Mix (I used Betty Crocker)
2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup water
1- 15 oz can strawberry pie filling
4 eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
4 tbsp unsalted butter
Fresh strawberries, sliced
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
In a large bowl, combine both boxes of pound cake mix and the baking soda. Add the water, pie filling, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
In another bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and butter. Use a pastry cutter or a fork to mix until it resembles small crumbs.
Pour half of the batter into a greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the topping. Repeat with the remaining batter and topping. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm and top with fresh strawberry slices and scoops of vanilla ice cream.
