Last week, my daughter and I spent the first half of the day at Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival and had SO much fun!
Pardon the sunshine in our faces we tried 1,000 times to get a good selfie.
The sun was shining but the weather was actually perfect. We got there when the park opened and there were almost no crowds. Such a nice and relaxing morning.
Here are a few views of the park throughout the morning while everything was quiet! We went there to do the Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration (flower map) and Egg Hunt which I’ll post after this one!
We started off at Club Cool, and they had NO flavors except for Beverly and Country Club. I had never tried Country Club, but it was excellent. It had a sweet tropical fruit flavor.
We started at the beginning of the park, and then made our way to the World Showcase. We got to watch one of the cast members “water painting” Donald Duck. They’re so good at this, it still shocks me.
I loved all of the decorations at by the kid’s playground. Songbird Meadow was filled with the prettiest wildflowers.
For those of you that haven’t been to the Flower and Garden Festival, they have the most amazing character topiaries throughout the park. I took photos of a few but they have so many more like Winnie the Pooh, the Seven Dwarfs, Muppets, and they’re all breathtaking.
The shots of France just might be my favorite.
We almost overlooked this area, but I’m glad we stopped. It’s a mini fairy garden. There’s houses, bridges, and little characters throughout the whole display.
Quick stop in Morocco for a strawberry slushee. And yes, it was reallllly good!
After we finished our maps, we made our way back to the front of the park to turn them in. They have a honey booth and section which had the most wonderful cheesecake (we tried it on a previous trip.)
Stopped for lunch at Connections. I had the General Tso’s salad, and Hayley had chicken nuggets. We are HUGE fans of their strips so both meals were wonderful.
On our second walk around the World Showcase, we stopped by the Basin booth and got a bunch of bath salts and bath bombs. The lemon and orange smelled incredible.
We went on the Frozen Ride and then the American Adventure. To be honest, this ride/attraction was super boring but the song is always so catchy.
Next stop was the Skyliner. We wanted to take a little trip to one of the hotels and try their Easter special. We went to the Art of Animation!
I tried the Coconut Sugar Bunny Cupcake. It had a carrot cake base, pineapple filling, cream cheese frosting, and coconut. So cute and super delicious…10/10 for this cupcake.
We ended our time at the park in the mid-afternoon. Such a fun time, and we got to do so much in only half of a day. Stay tuned for the next two scavenger hunt posts!
