Why You’ll Love This Recipe

• It tastes like a snickerdoodle cookie in latte form. You only need a handful of simple ingredients.
• The brown sugar and cinnamon combo is warm and classic.
• It’s easy to make at home—no fancy equipment required.
• The whipped cream and crushed cookie topping make it feel like a bakery drink.
• Perfect for fall mornings, afternoon pick-me-ups, or dessert in a mug.

Ingredient Notes

• Espresso or strong brewed coffee – Either works, but espresso will give it that true café-style flavor. A dark roast works best if using brewed coffee.
• Milk of choice – Use dairy or non-dairy; oat milk froths well and adds a subtle sweetness.
• Brown sugar – Adds depth and molasses-like warmth compared to white sugar.
• Cinnamon – Ground cinnamon gives this latte its signature snickerdoodle flavor.
• Vanilla extract – Just a splash enhances the cookie-like taste.
• Salt – A pinch balances the sweetness and brings out the spice.
• Toppings – Whipped cream is optional, but the crushed snickerdoodles or cinnamon cookies take this from a latte to a full-on dessert drink.

Before You Brew

Do I need an espresso machine to make this latte?
Nope! You can use 1–2 shots of espresso if you have a machine, but strong brewed coffee or instant espresso works just as well.

Can I make this latte iced instead of hot?
Yes! Let the coffee and milk mixture cool slightly, then pour over ice and top with whipped cream and crushed cookies.

What kind of cookies work best for topping?
Snickerdoodles are ideal, but cinnamon graham crackers, cinnamon sugar cookies, or even crushed Biscoff cookies work well too.

FAQ

Is this Snickerdoodle Cookie Latte dairy-free?
It can be! Just use your favorite non-dairy milk and skip the whipped cream or use a dairy-free version.

Can I make this ahead of time?
You can prep the spiced milk mixture in advance and store it in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat and froth before serving.

How do I froth milk without a frother?
Use a whisk and vigorously stir, or shake the warm milk in a tightly sealed jar. A blender also works for a quick froth.

Can I use a flavored coffee creamer instead of milk?
Yes, but reduce or omit the brown sugar depending on how sweet your creamer is. Start small and taste as you go.

Can I skip the toppings?
You can, but the whipped cream and cookie crumbles are what take this from “spiced latte” to “snickerdoodle in a mug.”
