When the full moon peeks through the inky blackness and the wind carries whispers from realms unknown, it’s time to gather for a night of thrilling tales and spine-tingling surprises. Welcome to my Goosebumps party, where the boundary between reality and the eerie unknown blurs, and every shadow holds a chilling secret. From ghastly ghouls to twisted tales, this party table promises a hauntingly fun experience 👻 All based on the newest sprinkle mix in the “Bingeworthy Fall Collection” these recipes will make frightening tales come alive.
This season, I am making a dozen party tables all based around a Fall TV show or movie series. I absolutely love making Party Tables. I would seriously consider making my entire page and accounts strictly tablescape focused. I have so much fun coordinating the recipes, table settings, decorations, and even the editing.
Here’s a breakdown of the table:
For this table I wanted the black and lime green to stand out. I ordered a Goosebumps sign off of Amazon and all of the decorations and tablecloth are black. I decided to make a sprinkle cake the centerpiece for each party theme. For this one I made a vanilla cake and frosting and topped it with a lime green border and the Goosebumps-inspired sprinkles. In the center I added a “Slappy the Puppet” edible image that I made at home.
I didn’t want the table to be only sweets, so I made mummy dogs and served green chips. The guacamole chips were incredible. I got them off of Amazon, and I’d definitely order them again.
The skull drink dispenser is from Party City and I filled it with Green Hawaiian Punch. It turned out to be the perfect color.
The jello cups took the longest to set, but they were the most fun. The worms turn out to be super slimy and the kids had such a blast eating them. I topped each of them with Cool Whip and scary eyes (recipe below).
I also made edible slime, which I don’t recommend eating. It’s pretty chalky BUT it’s most definitely safe to eat and everyone had fun playing with them. The salty-sweet bars with the sprinkle mix and skulls were made using this mold and they’re filled with pretzels and marshmallows.
Get ready for next week’s Party Table. The theme is…Gilmore Girls!
PrintHere is a classic vanilla frosting that you can tint to match any theme!
2 sticks of butter, softened- I use one salted and one unsalted. If you prefer to use unsalted, add in a pinch of salt, to taste.
4 cups of powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp of heavy cream
1 tsp of vanilla extract
In a mixing bowl, beat the butter until smooth. If you have a standing mixer, use the paddle attachment. Otherwise, use a hand mixer.
Beat in half of the powdered sugar. Mix until smooth. Add in the heavy cream, vanilla, extract and the rest of the sugar.
Mix until smooth and fully combined.
