If you have kids in the house, you better have snacks. That’s why I was super excited to try this new lineup from Goodies. Between my 12-year-old daughter, my 9-year-old nephew, and my 4-year-old niece, we had a pretty great little taste test with three very different opinions.
Goodies recently launched nationwide with a collection of kid-focused snacks designed to bring a little more variety to snack time. Created by Hero Group, the lineup includes a mix of sweet and savory options made without artificial sweeteners, food dyes, or high-fructose corn syrup. The snacks are also gluten-free and non-GMO, making them an easy option for busy families looking to stock the pantry for summer.
So they sounded healthy, but the real question was: would the kids like them?

Our Goodies tasting lineup included:

The PB&J Poppers Strawberry were one of the first snacks we opened, and the kid reactions were really positive. My 4-year-old niece was the biggest fan of this one. She immediately liked them and kept going back for more, which is a 5-star review when it comes to a preschooler.
The older kid testers definitely liked them, but not as much as the upcoming popper flavor below.
The strawberry filling was light, so for younger kids, the softer flavor might actually be part of the draw. It was sweet enough to feel like a treat, but not like a full on dessert.
Kid verdict: Best for younger snackers or kids who like mild strawberry flavor.

The PB&J Poppers Grape were the winner between the two PB&J flavors. This one had a much bigger reaction from the kids. My nephew, who does not even like PB&J sandwiches, loved this one. That says a ton because he is truly a picky eater.
The grape flavor came through more clearly, and the whole thing felt more like the classic lunchbox flavor. These were fun, easy, and very kid-friendly.
Kid verdict: The grape flavor wins. This is the PB&J Popper I would buy again.

The Banana Bread Mini Oat Bites were the one snack that didn’t land as strongly with my kid testers.
The issue seemed to be the oat flavor. It came through a little too strongly for the kids, especially compared with the crunchier snacks in the lineup. These felt more wholesome and soft, which might appeal to some younger kids, but my group preferred the other options. I could see these working for kids who already like oat bars, soft snack bites, or banana-flavored breakfast snacks. For my crew, they were not the favorite.
Kid verdict: Not bad, but not exciting enough for my testers.

The Cinna-Toast Squares were a much bigger hit.
The kids liked the crunch right away, and I thought they had a texture and flavor that reminded me of cinnamon twists. They were light, crisp, and easy to keep snacking on.
This was one of those bags that worked for everyone. The cinnamon flavor was noticeable but not too heavy, and the texture made them feel fun. They had that snackable quality where one handful turns into two very quickly.
Kid verdict: A strong yes from everyone.

The Sea Salt Sweet Potato Sticks were one of the biggest hits of the whole lineup. The kids loved these and, in fact, my daughter stole the whole bag.
These were crunchy, salty, and easy to eat, and they had the kind of flavor that worked for all three ages.
This is the snack I immediately thought of for school lunches, beach bags, pool days, and snack bins. They feel like something kids would actually want, but they also feel like something parents would be happy to pack.
Kid verdict: 10/10. Everyone wanted these.
The Mac & Cheese Noodles were another huge favorite, especially with my niece. The shape, the crunch, and the familiar mac and cheese flavor made them one of the easiest snacks to get everyone interested in.
They have that savory, cheesy flavor kids already recognize, but in a crunchy snack form that feels a little more exciting than the usual lunchbox add-on.
Kid verdict: Another 10/10 and a definite repeat buy.
Overall, Goodies feels like a really smart snack option. They’re individually portioned, easy to pack, and totally kid-friendly.
Based on the kids’ reactions, the biggest winners were the Sea Salt Sweet Potato Sticks and The Mac & Cheese Noodles.
The Cinna-Toast Squares were also a strong favorite and probably the easiest sweet crunchy snack of the group to recommend.
For the PB&J Poppers, grape was the clear winner over strawberry in our house. My niece did love the strawberry flavor, but the grape got a better overall reaction from the group.
The Banana Bread Mini Oat Bites were the only ones I probably would not buy again for my kids, simply because they weren’t as excited about them.
Final bite- I would definitely buy most of these again.
Chocolate sprinkle cookies are the base for mini ice cream sundaes with all the fun toppings.
