Ingredient Notes

• Oats: Quick-cooking oats give the bites a soft, chewy texture that holds together easily.
• Peanut butter: Use a creamy, no-sugar-added version for the best balance of flavor and texture.
• Maple syrup: Adds natural sweetness—sugar-free syrup works great, too.
• Brown sugar substitute: Gives that warm, cookie-like sweetness without the added sugar.
• Raisins: Add a chewy, sweet touch that mimics oatmeal cookies.
• Vanilla: Vanilla bean paste or extract enhances the cookie flavor.
• Cinnamon: Brings cozy warmth and depth to each bite.
• Sea salt: Balances the sweetness and makes every flavor pop.

Before You Bake

Do I need to bake these energy bites?
Nope! These are completely no-bake—just mix, roll, and chill. The refrigerator helps them firm up so they hold their shape.

Can I swap the peanut butter for another nut butter?
Absolutely. Almond butter, cashew butter, or sunflower seed butter all work. Just make sure it’s creamy, not dry or stiff.

Do I need to use quick oats or can I use old-fashioned?
Quick oats give a softer, more cookie-like texture. Old-fashioned oats will make them chewier, so use whichever you prefer.
