Hey! I'm Taryn. Welcome to our blog. I cant wait to sprinkle a little fun into your kitchen with you!
If Cookie Monster made dessert, it would probably look a lot like this. These Cookie Dough Crunch Oreos are bold, bright blue, stuffed with Cookie Dough Oreos, and finished with chocolate drizzle, crushed cookies, and mini Chips Ahoy on top. They’re perfect anytime you want a fun, cookie-packed treat.

White Melting Wafers: Ghirardelli white melts work great for a smooth finish and easy melting. Candy melts will also work, but the texture may be slightly thicker.
Blue Food Coloring: Make sure it’s oil-based so it blends smoothly into the chocolate without seizing. Start with a little and build up to your preferred shade of blue.
Cookie Dough Oreos: These give the center a fun flavor twist without using actual raw cookie dough. If you can’t find them, Golden Oreos work just as well.
Dark Melting Wafers: Used for drizzling and attaching toppings. A small amount goes a long way for the decorative finish.
Mini Chips Ahoy: These add a playful, crunchy topping that really sells the cookie-lover theme. Regular mini chocolate chip cookies also work if needed.
Oreo Mold: A standard Oreo mold helps give these their classic oversized shape, but any round chocolate mold with enough depth will work too.

Do I need oil-based food coloring for the chocolate?
Yes. Water-based food coloring can cause the chocolate to seize and turn grainy. Oil-based coloring blends smoothly into melting wafers and keeps the texture glossy.
Should the molded Oreos be cold or room temperature before drizzling?
Let them sit out for a few minutes after unmolding. If they’re too cold, the drizzle will set too fast and won’t spread smoothly.
Can I skip the Oreo mold?
You can use another round chocolate mold, but the Oreo mold gives the classic oversized cookie look and helps the layers stay even.

What can I use if I can’t find Cookie Dough Oreos?
Golden Oreos or classic Oreos work just as well and still give a great cookie center.
How long do these take to set?
They usually set in about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Can I make these ahead of time?
Yes. They’re perfect for making a day in advance and storing in the fridge.
How should I store them?
Keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Can kids help make these?
Yes, as long as an adult handles the melting chocolate. Kids can help press in the cookies and add the toppings.

These are such a hit for a Cookie Monster–themed party. Set them out on a big blue platter with extra mini cookies scattered around. You can even let kids take some home as favors. They’re fun to make ahead, easy to serve, and perfect for little hands grabbing a cookie-packed treat while running back to the party games.
