Easy edible cookie dough filled with the most fun Valentine’s Day mix-ins. This takes only a few minutes to make, and it’s perfect for a sweet treat. Customize with your favorite valentines candy!
Edible cookie dough is hands-down one of my top favorite desserts. I mean, come on! Who doesn’t love cookie dough?!
I remember as a kid, I want to eat it BEFORE we baked it just as much as the finished cookies. Did you ever feel that way? Although the baked cookies were quite delish, this recipe is the best of both worlds, and BONUS… it’s kid friendly and makes enough to last more than a day.
As you can see from the video, I load it up with sweet, crunchy, and colorful valentines sprinkles and candy, including those little conversation hearts which give it that cutesy Valentine’s Day touch. What kind of candies do you think you’ll use? I’d love to know 💕

Conversation Heart Cookie Dough
Ingredients
- 1 c HEAT TREATED all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c room temp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/4 c milk chocolate chips
- 1/4 c white chocolate chips
- 3–4 tbsp pastel sprinkles
- 1/2 c conversation hearts
- *if you don’t like conversation hearts, sub a valentine’s candy of your choice!
Instructions
- Be sure to heat-treat your flour ahead of time. To do this, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spread the flour onto a baking sheet and baking for approx 7 minutes. You can find alternative methods on google.
- In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar with an electric mixer until creamy. Beat in the vanilla and salt. Add the flour and mix until a dough forms. Stir in the milk. Fold in all of the “mix-ins.” Eat right away or refrigerate!
