I attended a media event at Universal Orlando and we got to stay at the Terra Luna Resort! It’s cosmic-themed hotel located just next to the Epic Universe theme park. Honestly, before this I had never even heard of this hotel, but after staying there I would most definitely go back again.

We checked into our room and had the cutest greeting on our tv. Hagrid had a special “hello” to the Camp family.
You could see all of the cosmic touches in the artwork, furniture styling, and even the window design. Plus it had a great view of the resort and surrounding area.

That night there was a small reception in the lobby of the hotel. They had specialty drinks and a few menu items to sample.
We tried the Hot Honey Buffalo Chicken Pizza. It had chicken tenders, mozzarella & ricotta cheese, garlic cream, corn, onions, and hot honey drizzle. This was one of the tastiest and most unique pizzas I’ve ever had. If you’re in the area, stop by the food court just for this pizza. It’s worth the trip!
We also tried the Beef Tacos. They had Birria beef on a soft white corn tortilla with cojita cheese, cabbage slaw, picked red onions, chiptole-aoili, cilantro, and Mexican street corn. Another win, we loved them.
The drinks they served were extra fun because they all had a great theme. My daughter had the Lunar Lemonade, and I tried the Ariel. The lemonade was golden turmeric lemonade served with fresh mint. The Ariel had Ketel One Vodka muddles with blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, simple syrup, and lemon sour topped with Prosecco. Both were extremely tasty.

One fun touch in each Loews Hotel that we visited was that they had a Universal Studios themed sand castle in each one. Our hotel had Dark Universe featuring Frankenstein himself.

Two areas that we spent a ton of time in were the arcade and food court. The arcade had claw machines which are our weakness. It was open late, so we hung out here after the parks.

Each meal we had at the food court was delicious, far beyond other local hotels that we visited. They had a separate coffee and dessert area with a Starbucks and pastry case.
We also ate there every morning because it was just too good. The bacon, egg, and cheese croissant was our absolute favorite.
This press trip was absolutely fantastic. We truly had the best time ever. As a bonus, they were kind enough to give us a bag full of gifts with an Epic Universe Lug bag, Harry Potter Wand, golden Mario band, and a Disclosure Day hat.
I suggest that if you’re in the Orlando area, take a little trip to Terra Luna even if it’s just for the food!
