Ingredient Notes

• Salted Butter – Using cold, cubed salted butter helps give these cookies a thick, chewy bakery-style texture with rich flavor.
• Goldfish Crackers – Mini vanilla Goldfish add a sweet crunch and nostalgic charm. You could also swap in regular for a saltier bite.
• Potato Chips – Go for kettle-cooked or ruffled chips—they hold their crunch and give the perfect salty contrast.
• Mini Pretzels – Breaking them into small pieces gives that iconic salty-snap in every bite.
• Milk Chocolate Chips – Adds creaminess and sweetness to balance the salty mix-ins.
• Mini Marshmallows – They get gooey and caramelized in the oven—don’t skip them!
• Toffee Bits – These melt slightly while baking, adding sweet, buttery crunch.
• Sprinkles – Brightly colored sprinkles bring the fun. Use jimmies or confetti-style for the best texture (nonpareils can bleed color).

Before You Bake

• Want smaller cookies? Scoop 3 oz portions and bake for 8–10 minutes. They’ll still be thick and chewy with all the mix-in magic.
• Don’t have vanilla Goldfish? Swap in crushed graham crackers or vanilla wafer pieces for a similar sweet crunch.
• Worried about spreading? Keep the dough cold between batches. Chilling helps these jumbo cookies hold their shape and stay thick in the oven.

Ingredients

Scale 1x2x3x

Cookie Dough Base

• 1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter, cold and cubed
• ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
• ¾ cup granulated sugar
• 2 large cold eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2¾ cups all-purpose flour
• 2 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt

Mix-Ins

• ½ cup mini vanilla Goldfish crackers
• ½ cup crushed potato chips (kettle or ruffled)
• ½ cup mini pretzel twists, broken into small pieces
• ½ cup milk chocolate chips
• ¼ cup mini marshmallows
• ¼ cup toffee bits
• ¼–⅓ cup bright and colorful sprinkles (ideally 90’s colors!)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 410°F (210°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the cold cubed butter and both sugars until just combined—about 1–2 minutes.
3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and glossy.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until a thick dough forms.
6. Carefully fold in the Goldfish, crushed chips, pretzels, chocolate chips, marshmallows, toffee bits, and sprinkles. Mix gently so the snacks stay somewhat intact for that perfect crunch.
7. Scoop the dough into large cookie balls (about 5–6 oz each). Lightly shape into domes and space 3–4 per baking sheet. Keep the remaining dough chilled until ready to bake.
8. Bake for 9–11 minutes, just until the edges turn golden but the centers still look soft.
9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for at least 30 minutes. This helps them set up perfectly. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely for best flavor and texture. Trust me—waiting is the hardest part, but they’re totally worth it!

FAQ

Can I make A Goofy Movie Jumbo Cookies ahead of time?
Yes! You can scoop and refrigerate the dough for up to 3 days before baking, or freeze the dough balls for up to 2 months. Just bake from frozen and add an extra minute or two.

How do I keep the mix-ins from getting soggy or melting too much?
Fold them in gently and bake right away or keep the dough chilled. Using sturdy mix-ins like kettle chips and ruffled pretzels helps them stay crunchy.

What’s the best way to store these jumbo cookies?
Once fully cooled, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. They also freeze well—just wrap individually and thaw before enjoying!

Can I use unsalted butter instead of salted?
Definitely. Just add an extra ¼ teaspoon of salt to the dough to balance the flavor.

What size should I make the cookie dough balls?
For true A Goofy Movie Jumbo Cookies, go big—5 to 6 ounces each. This gives you the iconic thick bakery-style cookie with gooey centers and crispy edges.
