Plot Twist Brownie Bites might be one of my favorite last-minute dessert shortcuts lately because they look so decadent. They start with store-bought brownie bites, then get topped with swirls of chocolate frosting and drizzled with caramel. Suddenly these little brownies look perfect sitting next to an iced latte and the book of the month.

These brownie bites are rich, chocolatey, and creamy with a sweet-and-salty finish from the flaky sea salt. The soft frosting adds an extra layer of sweetness, while the caramel gives them that gooey coffee-shop brownie flavor. Every bite has fudgy brownie, fluffy frosting, smooth caramel, and little pops of salt throughout.

The twist is taking plain brownie bites and turning them into mini frosted desserts instead of serving them straight from the container. The frosting dollops and caramel drizzle instantly make these feel more fun and flavorful.

For the Chocolate Buttercream: https://
Can I use canned frosting?
Yes. Canned chocolate frosting works really well for keeping this extra fast and easy.
Do I have to pipe the frosting?
No. You can spread it on casually with a spoon and they still look fun.
Can I make these ahead of time?
Yes. Store them covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
What other toppings would work?
Crushed pretzels, mini chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or sprinkles would all taste great.
Can I use different brownie flavors?
Definitely. Blondie bites or cosmic-style brownies would also be really fun.

Serve these during your next book club meetup while everyone chats about the book of the month over iced lattes, comfy chairs, and way too many opinions about the ending.
