This is an old-school favorite recipe that I have made countless times over the years! They’re super easy to make and have the lightest chewiest texture. For me, they taste like gummy orange slices, but as a cookie! If you can’t find the orange cake mix, substitute it with any flavor of your choice.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line cookie sheets with parchment paper
Combine the cake mix, whipped topping, and egg in a large bowl. Batter will be sticky!
Drop tablespoon size balls in the powdered sugar and roll each ball around until it’s completely covered. Place them on the baking sheet and repeat with the rest of the batter.
Bake for 10-11 minutes. Let cool completely and enjoy!
