Weeknight pizza is always a kid-favorite and a staple around our house. Using fresh pizza dough is key, and you’ll be surprised at how quick and easy this is to make. If you have kids around the house, they’ll LOVE helping out!
Fresh pizza dough from the grocery store or a bakery- let it sit out 30 min to an hour before using
Pizza sauce- about a cup depending on the dough size
Freshly grated mozzarella- about 2 cups depending on the dough size
Any extra toppings- vegetables, pepperoni, ham etc
Cooking spray- I used avocado oil
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
Cut the dough into pieces, roughly the size of a tennis ball.
On a floured surface using your hands press the dough down forming a circle approx 6″ in diameter. Press in the middle and work to the edges. Be sure not to make the center too thin.
Add the desired amount of sauce and cheese to the dough. Get fairly close to the edge since the pizza will puff up.
Spray the inside bottom of air fryer with coking spray and using a large floured spatula, transfer the pizza to the air fryer.
Cook for 7-8 minutes or until the dough is cooked. Let cool for a few minutes and then serve.
