This week I took a TON of dessert photos and worked on a few different recipes. Here is a bit of the random things that happened throughout the week!
The newest s’mores flavor was PB&J. I did an Instagram poll asking what flavor people would like more- grape or raspberry jelly. Raspberry one, but I had an open jar of raspberry and strawberry preserves so I did half and half. Reminder, you can get the s’mores mold here.
For Mother’s Day I got a box of international treats, and this was the next taste test. Cinnamon Bun Oreos is what I am assuming they were, and I couldn’t get past the smell. I don’t even know what it was so off-putting, but tasting a bite was tough. My daughter, Hayley, didn’t mind the scent and said they were delicious.
I did a post for Edy’s ice cream in honor of National Rocky Road Day! This sandwich was better than I expected, and you can find the video below.
Below is perhaps my favorite candle of all time. It smelled amazing, but it was over $30…felt expensive for a small candle.
What I’ve been eating these days- limited animal based protein. Not completely, just less. In the photo is brown rice, black beans, butternut squash, edamame, an apple, and peanut butter.
I had SO MANY zoom calls this week. I love the blurring background effect they have now because I never want to clean up 😂
This recipe was a surprise hit at our house. They’re gummy worm ice cubes. You make strawberry daiquiri mix (minus the alcohol) and add the worms before freezing. It never gets totally icy-frozen, more like a sweet slushie. So perfect for summer pool days.
Finally published a s’mores tutorial. I still need to go more in depth but the starter video is here.
Rounded out the week with a special Snow White Storybook dinner. More pics to follow next week!
