This month, I needed to make a Woodland Character-themed dessert so I chose these Forest Friends and made them into a cookie pizza! It has a sugar cookie base, sweet cream cheese topping, fresh berries, and colorful sprinkles.
1 roll of Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 block (8oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Fresh assorted berries- raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries
Colorful sprinkles
Pressed sugar woodland characters
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 12″ dish or tart pan with a removable base with cooking spray. Press the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the pan.
Bake for 13-16 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Spread the mixture over the cookie cake.
Top with fruit, sprinkles, and characters, and serve immediately.
If you aren’t eating it right away, top it with the sprinkles and characters. Refrigerate for at least one hour and then add the berries before serving.
