There’s no possible way to explain how amazing these brownies are. They are super easy to make, and the added touched of the flavored candy bar plus the Strawberry Preserves Buttercream make them absolutely irresistible.
1 box of brownie mix + the ingredients listed on the box- I used Pillsbury Fudge brownies
2 large Milka Strawberry bars- found at Cracker Barrel or Amazon
1 stick of butter softened
2 cups of powdered sugar
1/3 c strawberry preserves
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8″ square dish with parchment and spray with baking spray. (A 9″ will also work, the brownies will just be a little thinner)
In a mixing bowl, make the brownies as directed. Spread half of the brownie batter into the dish. Top with a layer of candy bar pieces. Spread the rest of the brownie batter on top of the candy bars and then bake as directed. Let cool completely.
For the frosting, beat the butter until smooth. Add in the powdered sugar and mix and then the strawberry preserves. Mix until combined.
Spread on top of the brownies and serve or refrigerate until ready to eat.
