Oreo crumble

Cookies and cream cheesecake filling

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 1/4 cup patriotic nonpareils, optional

Instructions

Oreo crumble

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Stir together the Oreo crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Spread onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes.
  5. Cool completely, then break into crumbles.

Cookies and cream cheesecake filling

  1. Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until light and fluffy.
  3. Fold in the nonpareils, if using.

Assemble the parfaits

  1. Spoon Oreo crumble into the bottom of each parfait glass.
  2. Add a layer of cheesecake filling.
  3. Drizzle with chocolate fudge sauce.
  4. Repeat the layers.
  5. Top with whipped topping, patriotic sprinkles, and edible butterflies.

Makes 6 small parfaits or 3 to 4 large parfaits
