Hey! I'm Taryn. Welcome to our blog. I cant wait to sprinkle a little fun into your kitchen with you!
These Sparkly Snowflake Mini Cookies look straight out of a winter wonderland, but they’re secretly one of the simplest holiday treats you can make. A smooth white chocolate shell tinted icy blue wraps around a mini Oreo, then everything gets finished with shimmering edible glitter for that extra sparkly glow. Since there’s no baking involved, they come together quickly and make a gorgeous addition to cookie trays, party platters, or cute homemade gift boxes when you need something sweet that feels a little magical.

Is the mold plastic or silicone? The snowflake mold used for this recipe is plastic, not silicone. It releases beautifully, just make sure the cookies are fully set before unmolding.
Can I use regular food coloring? No. Only oil-based coloring works with chocolate. Water-based colors can cause the melts to seize and thicken.
How long do they need to chill? Chill for at least 30 minutes so the chocolate is completely firm before removing from the mold.

Can I swap the mini Oreos for another filling?
Yes. Mini sandwich cookies, chocolate wafers, crushed peppermint, or small candy pieces all work well.
Do these need to be refrigerated for storage?
No. Once fully set, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days away from direct heat.
Can I make these ahead of time?
Absolutely. They’re perfect for prepping 2–3 days in advance since the chocolate holds its texture and shine.
How do I keep the glitter from rubbing off?
Let the cookies reach room temperature first, then spray lightly. Once dry, avoid stacking to protect the shimmer.
Can I change the color theme?
Totally. Swap the blue for any oil-based color and match your glitter to fit parties, holidays, or team themes.

Make these after a day at the ice rink, then cozy up at home with Ice Princess, mugs of hot cocoa, and a plate of sparkly snowflake cookies to keep the winter magic going long after the skates come off.
