I’m back with another cocktail, and this Sparkling Ruby Squeeze is perfect for warm-weather FUN. It’s bright pink (which I love), super refreshing, and has the perfect balance of citrus and sweetness. It’s a mashup of my favorite Alani Nu drinks with a vodka I was excited to try, plus a splash of grenadine to bring it all together. Get out your glasses because it’s time for a pool party!

Making fun drinks was on my bucket list this year, and I have to say—this hot pink cocktail makes me so glad I went for it. I love warm weather, and since spring is my favorite season, this drink just fits. It’s bright, refreshing, and has the perfect mix of citrus, sweetness, and a little floral twist.

I’m a huge Alani energy drink fan, so I knew I wanted to add it to a cocktail. The Orange Kiss flavor felt like the perfect match for Kinky Ruby Vodka, which I’d seen around but never tried. The flavor sounded fun and different, so I had to test it out. Spoiler alert: It totally works.

What It Tastes Like

Kinky Ruby Vodka has flavors of kiwi, grapefruit, and elderflower, so it’s a mix of fruity, tart, and floral. When you mix it with Orange Kiss Alani, it turns into this sweet, citrusy, slightly fizzy dream of a drink. The splash of grenadine gives it that gorgeous ombré effect and smooths out the flavors so it’s just the right amount of sweet.

Ingredients

Scale 1x2x3x

• 12 oz glass
• 2 oz Kinky Ruby Vodka
• 6 oz Orange Kiss Alani Nu
• 1 tsp Grenadine
• Ice
• Optional garnish: Lemon slice or your favorite fruit

Instructions

1. Fill your glass halfway with ice.
2. Pour in the vodka, then top it with Orange Kiss Alani Nu.
3. Slowly drizzle the grenadine against the inside of the glass—this creates a beautiful gradient with a fiery red bottom and a glowing orange top!
4. Garnish with a lemon slice (or any fruit you love).
