Crumble the cake into a medium bowl. Mix it together until the cake and frosting are completely combined and no longer separated.
Using a 1-tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop the mixture into balls. Roll each one gently between your hands until smooth and round.
Place the cake balls on a parchment-lined plate and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Melt the chocolate wafers according to the package directions.
Using a fork, dip one cake ball into the melted chocolate, turning to coat completely. Let the excess chocolate drip off.
Immediately add sprinkles, then insert a cake pop stick through the top so the cake pop sits upright on the stick. Work one cake pop at a time so the chocolate doesn’t set before adding the sprinkles and stick.
Place the finished cake pops on parchment paper and let the chocolate harden completely.
Assemble the cake pop boxes, place one cake pop inside each box, and close. Add a ribbon or gift tag if you’d like.
