  1. Line a 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the Oreo crumbs and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  4. Spread the softened ice cream evenly over the chilled crust.
  5. Arrange 9 baked flag cookies on top in a 3-by-3 pattern. Add patriotic sprinkles if desired.
  6. Freeze for 3 to 4 hours, or until completely firm.
  7. Lift the dessert from the pan and cut into 9 squares, using the cookies as your guide. Serve immediately.
