Hey! I'm Taryn. Welcome to our blog. I cant wait to sprinkle a little fun into your kitchen with you!
This is one of those easy Christmas wins. It starts with a classic vanilla Creami base, then gets crushed holiday Oreos and a few sprinkles mixed in at the end. It’s fun without being over the top and feels like something you’d actually keep in your freezer all season.

Do I need to dissolve the sugar before freezing?
Yes. Whisking until the sugar is fully dissolved helps the base freeze evenly and spin smoother in the Ninja Creami.
Can I freeze this for less than 24 hours?
It’s best to wait the full 24 hours. The Creami needs the base fully frozen to get the right texture on the first spin.
Should I add the Oreos and sprinkles before freezing?
No. Always add mix-ins after spinning using the Mix-In cycle so they keep their texture.

Mix-Ins
Why did my ice cream look crumbly after the first spin?
That’s normal. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk and run a Re-Spin cycle until smooth.
Can I use all milk and skip the heavy cream?
You can, but the texture will be firmer and less creamy.
Can I use regular Oreos instead of holiday Oreos?
Yes. Any chocolate sandwich cookie works if holiday Oreos aren’t available.
Can I make this ahead and store it in the freezer?
Yes. Smooth the top after spinning, refreeze, and re-spin before serving.
What Ninja Creami setting should I use?
Use the Ice Cream setting for the first spin, then Re-Spin if needed before adding mix-ins.

This is a great one to have ready in the freezer for Christmas morning or later in the day after presents are opened. It’s fun to spin, mix in the Oreos and sprinkles, and then scoop it up while everyone’s still in that relaxed, happy post-present mood. Simple, festive, and exactly the kind of treat that fits right into a Christmas at home.
