Hey! I'm Taryn. Welcome to our blog. I cant wait to help you sprinkle a little fun into your kitchen.
Welcome!
This year, we’ve been to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas and Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios. I can say definitively Jollywood Nights was SO MUCH BETTER. There weren’t as many people and the ride lines were super short. Here’s how it all started…
We decided to stay the night at a Disney Vacation Club Resort- Animal Kingdom Lodge. The event didn’t end until 12:30am, so we didn’t want to drive home…and thank goodness we didn’t because I was exhausted. Anyways, the resort itself was decorated so beautifully. Disney is so great about staying on-theme and everything really reflected the African theme of the hotel. My daughter even got to decorate an ornament. All proceeds went to the conservation fund and they used egg shells as part of the ornament. She glued different colors on the gorilla sketch to make a cute little mosaic scene.
The event itself was such a blast. It was cooler out than I would have liked (a true Floridian), but we tried so much amazing food, went on a ton of rides and met characters that aren’t usually around the park. Our favorite was Max from a Goofy Movie. I’ll share more details in another post.
The next day, we had breakfast at the resort and it overlooked the courtyard with a bunch of animals. We got to hang out with a super cute antelope. The breakfast itself wasn’t so great, but the scenery made up for it.
