Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box Funfetti cake mix + ingredients listed on the box
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Fresh kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Easter sprinkles
  • Edible Easter characters or these edible toppers or just plain toppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the Funfetti cake mix according to the package directions. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake as directed.
  2. While the cake is still warm, use a straw or the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the surface. Slowly pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, making sure it seeps into every hole. Gently spread it across the top so it absorbs evenly. Cover and let the cake cool completely.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until it begins to thicken. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Continue beating until stiff peaks form and the whipped cream holds its shape.
  4. Once the cake is fully cooled, spread the almond whipped cream evenly over the top.
  5. Finish with sliced strawberries, kiwi, and raspberries. Add Easter sprinkles and edible characters for that colorful, candy-filled spring look.
