1 box chocolate cake mix, baked and cut into cubes
1 can cherry pie filling
¼ cup cherry syrup (maraschino or reserved from the jar)
2 cups whipped cream
Chocolate curls or chocolate shavings
Maraschino cherries, for topping
Instructions
Spoon a small handful of chocolate cake cubes into the bottom of each dessert cup. Drizzle lightly with cherry syrup so the cake gets just a little soak without turning soggy.
Add a spoonful of cherry pie filling, then a generous layer of whipped cream.
Repeat the layers once more with cake, cherries, and whipped cream.
Finish with a swirl of whipped cream, a sprinkle of chocolate curls, and a maraschino cherry on top.
Chill for about 30 minutes before serving so everything sets up and the flavors come together.
