Without separating the rolls, slice the entire package horizontally.
Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese evenly over the rolls.
Layer the ham over the cheese. Add the banana peppers, if using.
Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
In a small bowl, whisk together the pineapple preserves, Dijon mustard, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
Brush about half of the glaze onto the cut side of the top half of the rolls. Place the tops on the sliders, then brush the remaining glaze over the tops of the rolls.
Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for 8 to 10 minutes more, or until the tops are golden brown and glossy and the cheese is melted.
Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
