Dinnertime doesn’t have to be complicated, and this Baked Spaghetti and Ravioli Casserole proves just how effortless and tasty a meal can be! Inspired by my daughter Hayley’s creativity, this dish came together with a little teamwork and a lot of fun. While I handled the boiling and baking, she took the lead, mixing up a creamy marinara sauce with a surprise ingredient—cream cheese—that made it irresistibly rich and flavorful. Layered with saucy spaghetti, cheesy ravioli, and topped with a golden, bubbling layer of cheese, this casserole had our whole kitchen smelling incredible. My favorite part about making this was watching Hayley proudly create a meal that has officially become a family favorite.

Dinner time doesn’t have to be stressful—and this Baked Spaghetti and Ravioli Casserole is proof that easy meals can be totally delicious! My daughter Hayley actually came up with this idea, and let me tell you, she nailed it. With just a little help from me (mostly with the boiling and oven parts), she made this dish practically on her own. It’s a perfect recipe for when you want something tasty, cheesy, and comforting, but don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen.
We started by boiling the spaghetti and ravioli (we used teamwork here!). While that cooked, my daughter mixed up the sauce. It’s super simple: marinara, a little milk for creaminess, and some seasoning to give it that extra pizzazz. The secret ingredient here is cream cheese, which melts right into the sauce, making it the right kind of rich and flavorful. She loved watching it all come together in the pot and proudly declared it “better than any sauce from a jar.” She’s a chef in the making lol.
Next up was putting it all together. Hayley was able to do this part by herself. First, a layer of saucy spaghetti, then a layer of ravioli, followed by more sauce and ALL the cheese. Honestly, the more cheese the better. The smell that filled the kitchen while it baked was nothing short of amazing—we must have peeked through the oven window ten times.
When it was finally time to dig in, it was even better than I thought it would be, to be honest. The layers of spaghetti, cheesy ravioli, and sauce were just incredible. Topped off with melted and bubbling cheese…oh boy, this was a HIT. Needless to say, it is now an officially a family favorite, and the fact that my daughter took the lead makes it even more special. If you’re looking for an easy dinner that’s a total crowd-pleaser, this is it. Plus, it’s a great way to get the kids involved in cooking—who knows, they might come up with their own brilliant ideas too!
