Weekly Fun & Favorites

This week started with Mother’s Day pics and us being silly per usual. We were a day late, so these were actually taken the Monday right after.

Photographed a few desserts for Sprinkle Pop, and then made a bunch of recipes for this blog. Brookie Sundaes were such a hit for me. I found the containers on Amazon, and here’s an even better version than I got! Containers link…these are assorted which I wish I would have found instead of all one color.

Last week of school was a blast. Fun Day, Award Ceremonies, and early days. She has camp at her school with tons of field trips and cannot wait!

ROAD TRIP! We took a graduation road trip to Westgate River Ranch about 2 hours away from us. I truly think half of the fun of road trips is where you stop along the way. This food court situation was pretty fancy.

We got their Butter Pecan Crunch iced coffee (SO AMAZINGLY GOOD) and a mix of Jelly and Chocolate munchkins. Chocolate were eaten first lol.

When we got to the resort it was getting a little dark, but we were able to drive a golf cart around, run through a corn maze, play games, and sight see around the ranch.

We woke up the next morning and had a loaded day planned since it was only a 48 hour trip. It started with breakfast at the restaurant, then archery, fishing, mini golf, a swamp buggy ride, petting zoo, and swimming.

We had so much fun, and the resort is absolutely gorgeous. So peaceful, but next time we will go when it’s a bit cooler.

When we got back, we headed to Fresh Market. I got these “s’mores for the grill” to test and try to replicate. I bought the popcorn too because I am wildly intrigued with this flavor. They also had watermelon and lemon.

Taste tested an international Dr. Pepper flavor- vanilla float. Tasted just like regular Dr. Pepper to me.

Got a bunch of props from Party City, but I was super excited about these. Sprinkle Sundaes just made it on the list.

Ended the week with a visit from the ice cream truck! And we had to add on our 2023 grad topper because camp starts tomorrow.
