Spring always feels like a reset, and I leaned all the way into it with a little at-home “spa day” theme. I’ve been trying out new smoothie recipes along with a mix of health and beauty finds, and a few have already made their way into my regular routine. Here are the standouts so far.
This smoothie feels like something you’d get at a really good spa…fresh, light, and perfect for the warm weather.
It’s super refreshing from the honeydew and kiwi, with that clean, juicy flavor that instantly wakes everything up. The banana and Greek yogurt make it creamy and smooth, so it still has that satisfying, almost milkshake-like texture, just way brighter and lighter.
The lime is what makes it stand out. It adds a subtle citrusy pop that keeps it from tasting too sweet and gives it that crisp, refreshing finish. The chia seeds blend in for a little texture and make it feel more filling, while the hint of honey ties everything together without overpowering the fruit.
It’s cool, creamy, slightly tangy, and naturally sweet…basically the kind of smoothie that makes you feel like you’re doing something really good for yourself while still enjoying every sip.

For the skincare tests, I started with a couple of products from Alpyn Beauty, and I’m officially obsessed. I noticed a difference pretty quickly with both, which doesn’t always happen for me.
These products were gifted, but all opinions are my own.
The Barrier Repair Cream is rich and super replenishing without feeling heavy. It leaves my skin feeling really hydrated and calm, almost like it just resets everything. My skin looked smoother and more even after using it, and it just has that “healthy glow” look that’s hard to fake.
The Super Sculpt Serum was just as impressive. It’s lightweight, slightly cooling, and feels really refreshing going on. My skin felt firmer and smoother, especially around my face and neck, and it layers really well under the cream.
Overall, these feel like elevated, spa-level products that actually deliver. I’d absolutely order both again.

Next up is Prequel Skincare, and this brand was another complete win for me. I tried four products, and honestly, every single one impressed me.
First, the AM/PM Moisturizer. This is one of those products where you can actually tell it’s doing something. It’s a mid-weight moisturizer that absorbs quickly but still leaves your skin feeling really hydrated and smooth. My skin stayed fresh and dewy all day, and it gave that soft, healthy finish without feeling greasy. This is an easy 5 stars for me.
Then I tried the Half & Half Fluid Moisturizer, and this one is such a great addition to a routine. It’s super lightweight and layers perfectly under the AM/PM moisturizer. It doesn’t feel heavy at all, but you still get that hydrated, plump look. It’s one of those products that just quietly works and makes everything else you’re using perform even better.
Next was the Sun Barrier SPF 50, and this might be one of my favorite sunscreen finds. It’s lightweight, blends really nicely into the skin, and has a soft, natural finish. It doesn’t interfere with makeup, and once it’s on, you barely notice it. It gives you that protected but still radiant look, which is not always easy to find with sunscreen.
Lastly, I tried the Moisturizing Gel Socks, and I had never used anything like this before. They feel a little funny at first, almost like walking around in slightly damp socks, but the results are so worth it. My feet felt incredibly soft and moisturized after, like a full treatment at home.
Overall, this brand completely delivered. Everything felt thoughtful, effective, and easy to use, and I would absolutely repurchase all of these.

This whole spa day experiment turned into something I’ll actually keep doing. Between the fresh, bright smoothie and the skincare from Alpyn Beauty and Prequel, it felt like a full reset without leaving the house. It’s that mix of feeling refreshed, hydrated, and just a little more put together that makes such a difference. These are the kinds of finds that slip easily into your routine and make you look forward to taking that extra time for yourself, and honestly, I’m already planning my next round of spa day favorites.
