Hey! I'm Taryn. Welcome to our blog. I cant wait to sprinkle a little fun into your kitchen with you!
These Valentine’s Party Jumbo Cookies are thick and loaded with melty white and milk chocolate, with tons of sprinkles in every bite. They bake up tall with soft centers, crisp edges, and that classic jumbo cookie texture that only gets better as they cool.

Does it need to be refrigerated? No. This recipe is designed to be baked right away. The cold butter, cold eggs, and high oven temperature do the work of keeping the cookies thick.
How big should the cookies be?
These are jumbo cookies. Scoop large portions and keep them tall rather than flattening them. Bigger dough balls help create the thick bakery-style shape.
Why do they look underbaked when I take them out?
That’s intentional. The centers will look soft at first, but they continue setting as the cookies cool on the pan and then on a rack.

These firm up beautifully as they cool and get that classic thick Levain texture with a soft middle and structured edge.
Can I bake these at a lower temperature?
The high heat is important for structure. Baking at 410°F helps the outside set quickly so the cookies bake tall instead of spreading.
Why can I only bake four cookies per pan?
Jumbo cookies spread and grow. Spacing them out prevents them from baking into each other and helps them cook evenly.
Can I swap the sprinkles for another mix-in?
Yes. You can use seasonal sprinkles, chocolate chunks, or leave them out entirely and keep it a double chocolate chip jumbo cookie.
How long do they need to cool before eating?
Let them cool on the pan for at least 30 minutes, then another 2–3 hours on a rack for the best jumbo cookie texture.
Can I store these after baking?
Once fully set, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for longer storage.

Bake these the day before Valentine’s Day so they have time to fully set. Then on Valentine’s night, you’ve got thick bakery-style cookies ready to go without doing anything extra. Just grab one, break it in half, and binge Hallmark Loveuary movies.
