If you’re a Universal Studios annual passholder, you know that the perks are awesome (especially if you have the pass that gets you to the front of the line after 4), but nothing compares to the exclusive Annual Passholder Night. With a limited number of spots available, we had to register ahead of time to secure our place. The event promised an evening of shorter lines, exclusive treats, and a little bit of extra magic—and it did not disappoint! Check-in was a breeze, and we were quickly in the park ready for rides, rides rides.
That being said, one of the best parts of the evening was the chance to enjoy some of Universal’s most popular rides without the usual long waits. We flew through Men in Black, braved the ancient curse in The Mummy, battled alongside the Autobots in Transformers, and escaped from Gringotts in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The thrill of getting on so many rides with minimal wait times made the night feel like we had the park almost to ourselves.
Of course, no visit to Universal Studios is complete without indulging in some signature treats. We couldn’t resist grabbing a Butterbeer and a few Chocolate Frogs from Diagon Alley, but the highlight was the limited edition treat for the night: Pizza Fries. The line was long, but these fries—piled high with pepperoni, sausage, and gooey cheese—were worth the wait. We also explored the new DreamWorks land, where we couldn’t pass up trying the Shrek Pretzel. It was even cuter than we imagined…and tasted good!
To top it all off, they handed out mysterious buttons that hinted at a special Back to the Future attraction coming soon. This is MY FAVORITE movie of all time, so I am super excited about what it could be. Joining me in this fun was my sister Kelly, her son Brayden, and my daughter Hayley. I remember when they were little and those times were sweet but I love it even more now that they’re older. So much more to do, and my daughter is even braver than me when it comes to rides. Universal Studios Annual Passholder Night is an experience I highly recommend— I’ve been really impressed with Universal in the past couple of years. I cannot wait to see what they come up with when their new theme park is finished!
