An easy trifle that’s perfect for summer parties, birthdays, or just a little bit of fun! It’s got layers of brownies, a rainbow sprinkle pudding mix, a swirl of chocolate and then classic sundae toppings. This trifle is sure to be a hit!
1 box of brownie mix made according to the package and chopped into pieces
3 1/2 cups cold milk
2– 3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 (8 oz) container of whipped topping
1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles + extra for topping
Chocolate Sundae syrup
Toppings: extra whipped cream, cherries, nuts, etc
Instructions
Make the brownie mix according to the package and let it cool completely. I used a 13 x 9 pan, but use whatever you’d like since it’ll be chopped into pieces. They should be approximately 1″ squares.
In a large bowl, whisk the milk and 2 packages of pudding as directed on the box.
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add in the butter and powdered sugar and mix again until smooth.
Whisk the pudding into the cream cheese mixture and then fold in the whipped topping. Once combined, fold in the sprinkles.
To assemble, place half of the brownies at the bottom of a trifle dish. Top it with half of the pudding mix and then a swirl of chocolate. Repeat the layers and then add additional whipped topping, sprinkles, cherries, or whatever you’d prefer!
*Note, if you aren’t eating this right away, I’d use more whipped topping like Cool Whip at the top instead of ReddiWhip.
