This easy garlic butter pizza bake is made with a base of flaky biscuits and layered with layered with savory sausage, tons of mozzarella cheese, and garlic butter. Top it off with pepperoni and it’s the perfect quick “pizza” for pizza lovers. My favorite part…the garlic butter. This will become a staple in your weeknight dinner rotation!
THE STORY: I’ve made quite a few pizza bakes in my time, but I wanted to give this one a little something special. I added the garlic butter and WOW it made such a huge difference. I love any sort of baking pan dinner because they’re super easy to heat up. My daughter loved this one and shockingly she’s not even a huge pizza fan!
TIPS: I’ve tried cooking this at a higher temp, but I prefer baking it at 350. I’d much rather tent it with foil so that it’s completely cooked on the inside and doesn’t burn on top. Also, be sure to spray the dish really well with cooking spray or even grease it with Crisco. The cheese can easily stick to the sides if it isn’t coated well.
SPRINKLE OF CREATIVITY: Don’t like sausage? Add ham or even double pepperoni! If this was only for me, I would have added chopped onions and peppers as well and topped it with red pepper flakes. If you’d like to please everyone, don’t add any toppings in the biscuit mixture. Save them all for the top and separate them into sections (1/3 of the pan pepperoni, 1/3 of the pan veggies, 1/3 of the pan ham.)

In the directions, you don’t say what to do with the second half of the cooked sausage.
