Easy Oreo Poke Cake

Poke cakes are so easy and so light…not overly sweet and so simple to customize. This one is chocolate cookies and cream which is such a classic flavor. Swap out the cake mix, pudding, or topping based on the theme or holiday!
Easy Chocolate Oreo Poke Cake
Ingredients
Scale
- Chocolate Cake mix + the ingredients listed on the box
- Chocolate pudding mix (3.4 oz) + the ingredients listed on the box
- 1 1/2 c heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 c powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/3–1/2 c Oreos, finely crushed like crumbs
- Hershey’s Cookies n Creme bars, optional
- Extra Oreo crumbs, optional
Instructions
- Prepare and bake the cake according to the package instructions.
- While it’s still warm, poke holes throughout the cake. I used a straw for mine.
- Make the pudding mix according to the package instructions, and pour it on top of the cake before it sets. Using a spatula to spread it in the holes and throughout the cake.
- Let it set until it’s no longer warm, then move it to the fridge for 2-3 hours.
- After it’s set, prepare the whipped cream. Beat the heavy cream until you see bubbles. Add in the powdered sugar, vanilla, and oreo crumbs. Beat it until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream onto the cake and top it with Oreo crumbs and Hershey’s Bar pieces (optional.)
