Sweet Shoppe Waffle Cone Crunch Parfaits

  • 1 1⁄2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam or preserves
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional, if strawberries aren’t sweet)
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed waffle cones (about 4 full cones) + extra for topping
  • 1 cup crushed Golden Oreos
  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade)

Instructions

  1. 1. In a bowl, mix the strawberries, jam, and sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes to macerate (get juicy and flavorful).
  2. Whisk the pudding mix, cold milk, and vanilla until smooth. Let it set for 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Combine the crushed waffle cones and cookies in a bowl. This will be your sweet, crunchy base.
  4. In parfait glasses or jars, layer the following: 2 tbsp of the cookie crunch, a few spoonfuls of pudding, and a scoop of strawberries.
  5. Repeat the layers until the jars are full.
  6. Finish with more whipped topping and an extra waffle cone piece.
  7. Serve immediately for maximum crunch!

* You can also layer this dessert in mini trifle bowls or mini mason jars if you’re doing a dessert table for a party!
